Fandom Snowflake Challenge 2016 - Day 06

In your own space, create your own challenge. What’s something you want to see more people doing in fandom? Is there something you’ve tried that you think other people would enjoy if they gave it a go? Dare your friends to try it out, and have fun with it.


My personal fandom space is sedentary.   I read or write fic, play with Photoshop *though it's been months*, and occasionally craft.  Well, crafting is somewhat active.  Anyway, as a challenge, let's have some physical fun.  If your fandom is Star Wars, get on your feet, clasp both hands together, and make 'zhhhm zhhhhm' sounds as you reenact the classic Phantom Menace Maul/Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon duel!  For Penguins of Madagascar, waddle like a penguin!  For Blake's 7, throw a paper plate like a frisbee and pretend it's the Liberator!  For Naruto, improvise a new hand sign or combat move while thinking deeply!

Come up with an activity and have fun!  I'd love to hear about it.

Goodness, this is an awesome challenge, and an excellent excuse to swan around the house in a cape - proper, makeshift, or imaginary - going "I am the night!" possibly counting - I have decided my fandom is all of the vampires.

My fandom is Age of Sail, and Jane Austen definitely comes under that... I'm about to head out for an evening of Regency dance. :D

Lol, this is fun. I love that duel from Phantom Menace and attempted to re-enact it. :D

It's a really, really good duel. If you want to get poetic about it, it's the old-style Republic Jedi being highly trained and going toe to toe with the old style Sith, using all their acrobatics and fencing skills. Having just seen TFA and remembering the OT, thjeir duels seemed more bludgeoning and slamming rather than balletic. *goes cosmic*
