Yes. At one time I attended cons, which were also fun. I got to see Nichelle Nichols, Marina Sirtis, Jonathan Frakes, and Michael Dorn at one of them when we all stood in the cafeteria line. Now I'm privileged to chat with authors of admired fics as well as explore fandom days before 2005, which is kinda neat online fun. :)
