First, a quote by LeoKatana from deviantArt about a new fancomic ("This Is All For Show") in the Penguins of Madagascar 'verse: "So here my girlfriend Nessaka-V and I start to work on this fan comic project for our dearly beloved Penguins of Madagascar, She is such a great stories writer and so good at doing storyboard and sketches, so she take charge of that while I did the rest lineart, coloring, shaded and light and rough background." Never have penguins looked more adorable and a puffin enters the picture, too.

Here is a recent movie tie-in fic in the prodigious oover of Random Guise, master of missing moments you always wanted to find found: Give a Hand to the General. This fic explores how Sheldon The Respectable Dentist and Vince The Retired Secret Agent from the film The In-Laws may have tied up a loose end in their adventure. It goes pretty well, actually. I always like how the author provides a thumbnail of any of his fic's original's basic plot, so you can keep up with the story even as it barrels along into comedy, drama, pathos and other genres. Check out the FFN profile here and be amazed at the output in movie, video game, book and other categories.
TheYeeteor takes us into Central Park Zoo's penguin exhibit and shows how an addition to the commando team surprises everyone, even the protagonist. It's called Average Jo(e) here on Fanfiction.net and it's also on AO3 here, where the author's illustrations shine. :)
Made of Wood by LeslieTheSorceress features the humanized penguins as detectives; Skipper is gaga over Lola, the bobblehead doll he romances beyond all reason in Madagascar 2. It's a fateful love affair for him and for his team as Lola does her best to fit in; the fic is also on AO3 here.
WIP
There are some characters who need more ficcish love and Kitka The Falcon is one, IMHO. Yeeteor gives readers the tantalizing beginning of an adventure throwing Kitka back together with Skipper in Flight(less) of Fancy, cross-posted at AO3.
