In your own space, resurrect an old meme. Have fun with it! Which is the goofiest meme you can think of? Put on your party hat and be silly!!
The world needs more silliness and I oblige as I pin on my home-made fascinator with the blue jay feathers, which is my party hat:
First, because I've worked in numerous libraries and even set one up once upon a time ...
pronker's Dewey Decimal Section:
108 Kinds of persons treatment
pronker = 6854158 = 685+415+8 = 1108
Class:
100 Philosophy & Psychology
Contains:
Books on metaphysics, logic, ethics and philosophy.
What it says about you:
You're a careful thinker, but your life can be complicated and hard for others to understand at times. You try to explain things and strive to express yourself.
Find your Dewey Decimal Section at Spacefem.com
This seems reasonable.
Next, because the AO3 stats page is a-callin' ...
1. What’s your first and second most common work ratings?
Teen and Up (44)
Mature (19)
2. How many fics have you written in each relationship category? Is this more accidental, or do you have preferences?
Gen (37)
F/M (29)
M/M (14)
Multi (3)
Other (2)
Well, here they are and they surprised me because some time ago (like years back), the first three were nearly equal. I seem to have drifted into Gen. On January 16, 2014, I compiled stats on what I recc'd on
crack_van as follows:
Gen 39 %
Het 27 %
Slash 34 %
3. What are your top four fandoms by numbers? Are you still active in any of them, and do you tend to migrate a lot?
Penguins of Madagascar (33)
Star Wars - All Media Types (22)
Star Wars Prequel Trilogy (11)
Star Wars Original Trilogy (9)
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types (4)
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1)
River Monsters RPF (1)
Here are all the fandoms so 46 are Star Wars and no, I'm not active in that anymore after decades of hyper interest. I ... guess I migrate in a limited fashion, less than a monarch butterfly but more than a clam? I'm pleased that Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea surged *ha!* on a wave *ha ha!* of heretofore unknown popularity, both here and on Fanfiction.net. I'd not realized how many folks still swam there until posting and receiving comments.
4. What are your top four character tags? Does this match how you feel about the characters, or are you puzzled?
Obi-Wan Kenobi (29)
Skipper (Madagascar) (26)
Anakin Skywalker (19)
Rico (Madagascar) (19)
Oh it matches, except I'm puzzled that Rico got tagged more times than Private.
5. If we look at the top six relationships, they are:
Marlene/Skipper (Madagascar) (13)
Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker (12)
Ferus Olin/Leia Organa (5)
Padmé Amidala/Obi-Wan Kenobi (4)
No Romantic Relationship(s) (4)
Johnson & Manfredi (Madagascar) (4)
Marlene and Skipper are the easiest to write, despite being interspecies, because the funny animal cartoon genre adapts itself to humanizing so much. I'm fond of Ferus/Leia because Jude Watson's YA series put them together and it was fun to extrapolate their relationship. Johnson and Manfredi are basically "face" characters whom canon did not focus on visually except for two minutes, and the sky's the limit on writing them. :)
6. How many WIPs do you have currently running on AO3? Any you don’t plan on finishing?
Freedom's Just Another Word is at 7/34 chapters and will be completed. Undertow is moving along briskly enough at 95 chapters and will be completed.
Only two. I blame my work ethic.
Last, because I am hungry, the What Kind Of Chinese Food Are You? meme ...
You Are Beef and Broccoli
You are a smart, no nonsense type of person. You are very low maintenance compared to most people.
You are often thinking of everyone else but yourself. You feel the most comfortable when you are putting yourself last.
You tend to order quickly yet carefully from the menu of life. You don't have a lot of time to agonize over decisions.
By doing the best you can in each moment, you've done pretty well in life. People truly respect and admire you.
It's uncanny! How does it know??
