Messing around with backgrounds and perspective and proportion; 85% content with the results, as this is the first drawing done completely in Pshop. Really had fun with the clone stamp tool. It's Palm Sunday, and today is a most spring-like day with a slight wind, not nearly as much as in the drawing. Subject from the Clone Wars TV show's arc of the Obi-Wan/Satine backstory. That's a chaperoning Qui-Gon on the hill. Drabble from capslock_cw on 022510 (unCAPSLOCKED):
Draboon's spring was like any other planet's, Obi-Wan told himself. The wind blew loose pink blossoms past his head as he hiked steadily to their encampment by the deserted orchard, new supplies heavy in his backpack.
"Obi!" came a shout, against all common sense. Satine loped down the grassy hill. Her arms were outstretched and her smile only for him. Highlighted against the skyline, also against all common sense, stood Master Qui-Gon, cloak swirling in the freshening breeze. The two young people touched only fingertips, aware of the watchful chaperone always nearby. Spring would have to wait, perhaps for years.

Qui-Gon is not sympathetic and is in full Guard the Padawan!mode.

That may be out of sync with the building up of their relationship that may happen in future episodes, but it does paint Obi-Wan as someone who has moved on, more than Satine had, because she gave him googoo eyes a few times and was struggling with her 'attachment.' Such is a way too complex look at a kids' show, ha.
