Agent With Style DOT com is a happy place for me. Long ago, I owned many 'zines gathered through the '70's and '80's and with attrition, they had 98% gone the way of all good things. So this site offers for sale 'zines from many favored fandoms, among them, Star Wars. I remember owning Outland Chronicles #1 from the '80's (?1985) along with others, the prices being from the site yesterday. Also, the table of contents from Outland Chronicles #1 holds an interesting name: Karen Miller.

Given the longevity of Miller's interest in the fandom, I'm wondering if, long ago, I read a story of hers. It's a common name, however. And now, in the italicized Anne Davenport entry, is this the Anne Davenport over on TFN? It's a bit more unusual name. Complete self-indulgence in posting these tables of content, as merely seeing the names Brin, Mularski, Agel and Webster get my brain creaking as it processes this blast to the past.

Date: 2011-03-22 01:53 am (UTC)I've just seen another table of contents for another zine from about the same time with a Miller story in it. 'Where No Corellian Has Gone Before' is a blend of ST and SW, ambitiously enough.
