"Anakin, field this one, will you? I'm busy at the controls."

"Afraid? Is the Negotiator at a loss for words?"

"What a ridiculous question!"

"All right, all right. Snips, it's inconvenient. Hair needs constant trimming, it obscures your vision, it gets mange - "

"Beasts contract mange, Anakin."

"Well then, you take over. I'll handle the controls."

"The Duchess has pretty hair. Is Satine a natural blonde, do you think?"

"Of course she is!"

"You're sure?"

"Certainly I'm sure!"

"How do you know, Master Obi-Wan?"

"She - We - I just know, is all."

"Pay up now, Master?"

Of course Obi-Wan would know all about Satine's grooming habits! I'm sure that he's been in her bathroom plenty of times. If she kept her boxes of dye there, he would have seen them by now.

Just... adorable. Of course the two busybodies would (1) be curious about Obi-Wan's love life, and (2) us it as an excuse to gamble - which Jedi aren't exactly supposed to do - and torment Obi-Wan.

Hee, this was fun to write. Yes, they're inappropriately curious, especially Ahsoka. Anakin, at least in the episode, had his suspicions but wasn't obnoxious about asking, I thought, anyway. As for gambling, well, Qui-Gon taught Obi-Wan who taught Anakin who taught Ahsoka.

Yup. The name is ominous sounding -- Ah, TVTropes, I could wear out my eyeballs over there ... and the Gargoyles series was well-done, I thought. At least, I liked it as much as the Ghostbusters animated shows.

I hadn't actually watched Gargoyles, you see, so I initially assumed it was just the Jude Watson character and his crazy plans. Again. And then I got a surprise when I actually read what the Trope was.

TV tropes = A+. Especially when you get to see the long arguments put down in a series of bulletpoints.

You know, it could apply to Anakin here too. Either he loses the bet - and gets to listen to more about Obi-Wan's love life. Or, he wins the bet, and gets money out of it too.
