In your own space, share a favorite piece of original canon (a TV episode, a song, a favorite interview, a book, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain why you love it so much. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
So go! Share a piece of canon you adore, spread that love. See why others love their fandoms, whether it be someone who loves he same stuff you do, or maybe even a fandom you've always wondered about. You might find a new fandom to love too.

"We Are The Penguins" combines riffs on Gilbert and Sullivan and Frank Sinatra. The program won "Outstanding Animated Program 2012" at the Emmy Awards, richly deserved and never more for this particular song in this particular episode, "Return of the Revenge of Dr. Blowhole." Gadzooks, Dr. Blowhole is voiced by Neil Patrick Harris in his best form! Skipper gets to channel his singing alter ego, Frank Sinatra, with be bops and skoodely woodelys. I love this hour-long episode because it uses nearly all the characters at Central Park Zoo, not easy to write when there are about fifteen of them, and because Danny Jacobs contributes to the shenanigans in his role as King Julien. Much to admire, so let's have some fun.
