In your own space, talk about why you are doing the Fandom Snowflake Challenge?

What drew you to it as a participant?

What do you hope to accomplish by doing these challenges?

I'd wanted to learn more about Dreamwidth and its folks, so joining a few weeks back and taking up a challenge seemed fun.

Participating in it sounds free and easy and yeah, it's a short challenge, tasty like an aperitif. TFN has a year-long diary challenge with deadlines that frankly sounds a lot like work as does NaNoWriMo. That's not for me.

Fandom is a part of my life since 1967, sometimes more than others, and wow, that's a long time, so an overview is what to shoot for. Thanks for presenting this challenge, and we shall see what I come up with.

Wow, since 1967, that's really impressive! The fact that the Snowflake challenge is low-pressure and fun is the reason why I return. I hope you enjoy the rest of the challenges.

Hee, we Trekkers at 16 would have slumber parties and my friend the Superfan would come up with fic ideas that she'd scribble down furiously on legal pads, and then at the next sleepover we'd finetune the stories. About five of us would contribute to groaningly anguished h/c stories about Kirk and Spock, who'd conveniently come down with Injury X and one would be tenderly cared for by the other. I'm certain there were caves and crashed transports involved. *splorfle* I wonder what happened to all those scribblings?

Yes, I'm up for Snowflake and have had great fun thus far. Congrats on running it.
