What a fantastic meme and I love your drawings! They are witty but peppered with detail and character. I love Obi as a child in the bath! and your ending for the duel!
Is this something you did alone or has it been passed on from somewhere. I may be tempted to have a go at it lol!
Thanks very much! It's a study in eyes, eyebrows and mouths, seemingly easy to make expressions with but I find it hard; it was great fun. The duel did have all sorts of detail in it showing Qui and Obi and Maul, but it wound up being way too longshot, so it seemed that if the two hands were both right hands, it could be assumed that Qui lived, ha.
And With-The-Grain started the Star Wars meme on dA, Bazylia-de-Grean picked it up and then I did it, and perhaps others. Originally it was a Harry Potter meme.
Ooops, make that their left hands and hmmm, with the proclivity that Lucas has for lopping off limbs, maybe it's too much to assume that Qui and Obi both lived. They did, though.
Thanks for commenting. The lap one took some doing to get proportions acceptable on big!Ani smooshing medium!Obi and Ahsoka shooting Sith Lightning out her 'horns' hee.
If you'd like to do this in manips, I can't see where that might not be okay, and it for sure would be faster.
omg chewie!! i was definitely on the verge of tears when he died. *pouts at you*
dude, your drawing style is just, gah, so fun!! you did this in crayon? ^________^ almost all your pictures made me laugh. (dead!padme not so much.) and the maid/matron/crone? SO AMAZING, YES. *flails*
I had to choose a big one to die without much regret, because I felt bad when Roan Shryne died, but who knows who that is? Chewie had plenty of screentime and EU book time, and died a hero in NJO, just the way he wanted to. Also, his hair looks good with Padme-type flowers in it, ha. These were Washable Crayola Markers and one colored pencil, the light cream one for lil' Obi's suit and Qui and Obi's sleeves.
M/M/C is some sort of anthropological/literary trope for females, like our different stages in life.
Thanks for commenting. I am fond of The Clone Wars comic book and Scott Hepburn has done some very nice work there, so that's why Obi and Ani look like they do here --- I put them in their CW armor for the meme. It was fun and a good way to get through some miserable seminars, ha.
