Have you been given any good advice lately?

Yes, to relax a little about jittery nerves re posting a Snowflake challenge on the 27th.

What do you find attractive that others might find unusual?

The smell of durian, gads, I love that stuff. Spouse bought me some durian extract once. :)

What about you do you seem to get the most comments about?

I'm a good listener.

If you had to name one thing that makes you stand out from others, what would that be?

I'm very self-reliant.

are your top five extinct creatures? (the only one i've even heard of is the thylacine so this is just a random guess.)

i've never smelled an uncooked durian but i went to visit a friend of mine in north carolina once and we went to a local chinese restaurant for dim sum and they had durian turnovers as a special. (the waitress went "we have durian turnovers :D " and my friend and i went "...ok!") so we got some and they were good! a little stringy, kind of like a squash, but lightly flavored and a little sweet. what does durian extract smell like? does it smell like a fresh one?

Oh gads, turnovers! I would love some ... durian is called the cheese that grows on trees and is pricey in Asian markets, usually frozen in large mesh bags. Spouse and I would buy one, I'd split it and freeze the cheese because one fruit produced lots. The extract smells nicely durianish, really tasty. The first four are animals I hope and pray are not extinct, though they are sadly rare and oh so precious. The cricket here isn't extinct, but after seeing so many as a child when we'd play in backyards, I've not seen their little 1 inch diameter hole for a lot of years. Maybe they look scary and big, since they are quite large, yet it would be grand to gently dig one up again and 'play' with it before letting it go.
